Savemerin ("we", "us", or "our") values the privacy of every individual who visits savemerin.com or utilizes our applications. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is processed, and our strict measures to minimize data retention.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (bcrypt). We never store plaintext passwords.
Download Request URLs: We process the public URLs submitted for media inspection. We strip query parameters containing analytics, referral trackers (such as utm_source, fbclid, igshid), and personal tracking tokens.
Privacy-Conscious IP Hashing: To enforce daily download allowances and prevent automated service abuse, we convert client IP addresses into a cryptographic, salted one-way hash (SHA-256). We do not store raw IP addresses in download logs.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect, intercept, or request your social media login credentials, session cookies, passwords, private direct messages, or non-public media. Savemerin operates entirely as a client for public social media posts.

4. Advertising and Rewarded Ads

For free-tier users, Savemerin may integrate third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob). In the case of rewarded ads, we perform server-side verification using cryptographic callbacks to validate that an advertisement was completed before issuing temporary VIP entitlements.

5. Data Retention & User Rights

Registered users may view or delete their download history at any time through their Account Dashboard. You may also request complete account deletion by contacting support at Contact Support.
