How Savemerin Works

Savemerin makes saving public social media content simple, clean, and accessible on any device. Here is our step-by-step walkthrough.

Locate and Copy the Public Post Link

On your computer or in your mobile app (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, or Snapchat), browse to the public post or reel you want to save.

  • TikTok: Tap the Share arrow → select "Copy Link".
  • Instagram: Tap the three dots (···) or Share paper airplane → select "Copy link".
  • Facebook & X: Click Share → select "Copy link to post".
  • Reddit: Click the Share icon → select "Copy link".

Paste the Link into Savemerin

Navigate to the Savemerin homepage. Click inside the search input or hit the "Paste" button. Then click the blue "Download" button.

Our engine immediately validates the URL for safety, identifies the target platform, and filters tracking parameters.

Choose Quality & Download

Review the available format options—such as No-Watermark HD Video, Original Audio MP3, or High-Resolution Stills. Click your preferred format to save the media directly to your storage.

Phase 1 Note: During Phase 1, URL inspection and platform validation are active. The full extraction engine pipeline will connect in Phase 2.
